Scheduling Release Dates

You can schedule a release to go live on a specific date instead of publishing immediately.

How it works

  • When creating or editing a release, set a release date in the future. The release stays in a scheduled state and is not visible on your page or in discovery until that date.
  • At the chosen date (and time, if we support time zones), the release becomes public automatically. You don't need to be online.

Why schedule

  • Build anticipation — Announce the date and let fans know when to expect it.
  • Align with other platforms — Match Bandcamp, streaming, or physical release dates if you're releasing everywhere.
  • Batch your work — Upload and prepare everything in advance, then let it go live on the day.

You can still edit the release (artwork, metadata, track order) before the date. After it's live, some changes may be limited to avoid breaking purchases or charts. See Editing & Managing Releases.
