TuneFreq keeps the lights on with a small platform commission on sales. We're transparent about what we take so you can plan.
Platform commission
- We charge a platform fee on sales (e.g. 5% of the sale price, configurable). This applies to music, digital goods, and subscription revenue.
- Launch incentive: For your first $5,000 in revenue, we waive this platform fee. That means you keep an extra slice during your early growth. After $5k, the standard commission applies.
Payment processing
- Payment processing (card fees, etc.) is separate and is typically a percentage plus a small fixed amount per transaction (e.g. around 2–3% + $0.30). This is charged by our payment provider; we don't add a markup. The exact rate depends on the provider and your region.
What you keep
- Example: On a $10 sale, after a 5% platform fee and typical processing, you might keep around $9 or a bit less. During the $5k launch period, you keep the platform-fee portion as well.
